Jessica Ashcraft and Matthew Pace are still recovering from their burns in the Hospital wing. A few close to the pair insist a couple of ashwinder eggs were forgotten in a bag, and their injuries were the result of an accident.

Others insist, however, that Matthew and Jessica are half-dead. Unhappy with the current status of their relationship, Jessica tried to blow Matthew up! Or was it because he's too beautiful, and she doesn't want to see his magnificent looks to fade over time?! Apparently spiders were involved, in addition to some unforgivables, and some fire!

Whatever happened, one thing is clear - Jessica does not make a good assassin! The girl can't even avoid being bitten by a spider....

Aurors are supposed to be coming at some point to question Jessica on her use of Unforgiveable curses against the gorgeous jock.

Whispers abound among the younger and more sweet-toothed denizens of the refugee camp at St. Mungo's. Someone has candy! So. Much. Candy. An older Gryffindor seems to be the source, offering the weary and haggard their choice of delicacy from a magic bag!

By the first morning

Chess, checkers, playing cards and other distractions begin to circulate around the camp. Again, the source is openly speculated to be the same Gryffindor with the surplus of confectionary. People looking for something to do are directed to a tall, thin young man with long, dark hair and a fetching Gryffindor scarf.

Jade is seen with Peran keeping guard almost every time, though occasionally she's just nearby sleeping - and the professors have had to break up the two at night more times than should be necessary. She's also been helping to spread the Plague of Candy, particularly to younger students, but only as a go-between... rumor has it she isn't the true Candy Overlord and inquiries should be directed to the aforementioned Gryffindor.

What exactly could Matthew be thinking at such a perilous time?

Rumors spread that there's a possibility that Wesley Cross may still be at Hogwarts, somewhere within the rubble left behind after it was destroyed in the attack. No word yet on his exact where-a-bouts or his condition.

Sam tries to keep herself busy, and asks the professors if she can volunteer making beds or other simple tasks to help the overworked hospital staff. However, the professors assure her that the hospital staff is competent and that students should occupy themselves in ways that do not involve getting in the way of the staff.

Amber has been keeping herself busy, healing the minor injuries, as well conjuring beds and tents to help cope with the growing number of students occupying the ground floor of St. Mungo's. In the corner of Girls Dorm, she maintains a pile of conjured blankets, pillows, some of her own books, games, and a small container of sweets. When she isn't occupying her time with minor tasks in the dorm areas, she is frequently conversing with or comforting other students, no matter their age. She has become a reliable source of information for others, concerning both the location of students, and the attacks that resulted in the school's temporary settlement in St. Mungo's.

She appears to have become so occupied with these tasks that she has gotten very little sleep.

A panicked Lani Perian arrives at St. Mungo's looking for her younger brother and sister, neither have been seen since the evacuation of Hogwarts. It's unclear where she was during the attack. London? Or somewhere farther abroad?


Selena Senocen hasn't been seen since the attack. There are vague rumors from some young Slytherins that she was seen helping people get out of the Slytherin Commons through the floo, but there's been no word of her since.
