I only needed to update it. I caught up when I reached the 4th page of the forum, and even then there were a number of old ones already on the list, so it wasn't too bad. I'm hoping to make the list a little more navigate-able if my request in Forum Site Developement gets approved and done.

If the bio remains, I would prefer to keep it listed. However, if the character no longer exists, I can't see a reason to keep the bio.. Despite what Yendys says.

So this isn't a list of current chars; it's more like a record of every char who ever played? The only way to make it current would be to have a post where people announce their new chars and announce when a char is deleted.

And Daria Byrne and Shiori Morioka actually have their bios deleted; the link links to nothing. Other past chars I have just left for past reference, but I can delete them if it's necessary.

I like to think of our forums as a record of everywhere we have been with the mod, so I hate to see anything deleted.

You never know who will return. I've also seen people pick back up on characters that they swore they would never play ever again. So I agree with JB.

I guess it depends on whether or not this list is supposed to be 'current' students or not? It should be easy to get only current students without having to delete bios.

Just make a post and get people to reply to it with the names of the chars they are currently playing. Then delete all others from the list.

And if people are playing and aren't on the forums then they shouldn't have a bio here.

It's a matter of opinion. Like Calan just said, people sometimes return after weird long absences. I'm only going to delete something off the list if the bio has been deleted. If a new one is made, I'll simply add it again.

Technically if someone wanted to be really OCD with this. You could make four or five seperate lists.

Active PCs
MIA PCs - players who have vanished
Dead PCS
Inactive PCS - Playercharacters who are terminally injured or incarcirated.

The fifth one could be a base database - you'd have to get someone anal enough to keep sorting and switching names from the list - pretty often and it could get rather hectic. It'd be an easy way of keeping track of pcs for everyone - but it'd be hard dedicated work.

Edited: To add another one that somehow I completely skipped - add Graduated. PCS

I can do the last one: Chase Armitage. Yay lists.
But, really, no. Those lists would need updating way too often, and people wouldn't just move out of the 'active' list. Some times, people come back after a loooong time, and there isn't really any way of keeping track of all of it. I do want to expand, but in the form of some simple forum codes (BBCode). Nothing that's currently available, however, but we'll see if we get there.
