You...this...how did you do...but with the title...  Haha, welcome back. I never played when you played, but I've only heard good things.  And if I knew how to take this post and stick it back where it was supposed to go(I assume) I would, but I think I don't have permissions to do that! EDIT: Ooh I figured out how to fix it. But JB got there first. I knew I had to be able to do that somehow!

Some of you already know this but a close friend of mine and Erin's died suddenly on Wednesday in a car accident. I'll be going back home for the funeral so I'll be offline from Sunday night (sorry Nick :/ ) to Tuesday night for sure, probably a couple extra days after as I catch up in my classes. I'll be on until then but I've been in a bit of a haze since I found out so don't expect quality RP out of me right now.
For those of you who've offered condolences and prayers, thank you so much for your support. I've never lost a friend before and I'm not really sure how to deal with it.

As the circle of life goes, I've been MIA for a few days visiting my cousin (she also played here for a time aw Erin's cousin, Brianna Blake), who's just given birth to a healthy baby girl. =]
I'm back now, and settling into school, but should have some decent play hours here and there.

I was about to make a reply saying that I was tired of sleeping and being lonely so I was going to reinstall NWN, but then I realized I still only have half a screen and it would be impossibly difficult to play. Since I'm becoming increasingly frustrated, I'll have it fixed before Halloween. -_- I am coming back.

So! As some know, I'm headed to the US to visit a friend of mine. The day is upon us, ladies and gentlemen, and my flight takes off in just about 9 hours. Hopefully. I, of course, can go nowhere without my laptop, so I'll have NWN, but my times will be limited due to my increase in social interaction (and I don't mean Facebook).

So, my computer just died on me. It just shut down, and I can't get it to come back up. Pressing the power button does nothing, except for the first time after I've toggled the reset button on the CPU, at which point all my fans spin for about half a second(but nothing else powers up), and then they stop. So I don't know what's causing this, since the fans spin it would imply not the PSU. Maybe the motherboard? At any rate, I don't have replacements for anything, so I don't know how long it'll be until I can get back. This just came out of nowhere.
I can't DM off my laptop(graphics issues), so dueling class tomorrow is cancelled unless my computer makes a miraculous recovery.

Try pulling out 1 card at a time until all cards are removed (including the video card, save that one for last) and see if you can get the fans and hard drive lights to stay on. If not, then the motherboard may very well be to blame assuming the power supply is putting out the correct voltages.

Did that, no luck. It's either the MB or the PSU, no way to tell which at this point, since the MB might be faulty therefore causing it to draw too much power, or the PSU might be borked, causing it to produce not enough power. No way to tell which case it is, with the tools I have available.

I'm unable to get on the game at the moment, just like I haven't been able to the last few days. I would hop on, but I think there's something wrong with the WI-fi, the internet on my friend's laptop is working fine, and the desktop internet is on, but only for now cause I was told it was gonna be cut off soon, so I'm getting this through now, but I have the connection on mine, but it won't connect and I don't know what's wrong with it. So I'll try to be on when I'm able to.

Hey guys, I know I kinda poofed for a couple weeks but I should be back by this weekend. Work is done for this semester and once I make it to Friday most of my big projects for school won't be priority anymore See you all soon!
