I'm going to be in Chicago from 1/16-1/20. I'll have facebook/twitter/forums through my phone, but no nwn. ICly, Lily, Jabari and Josh are still at school doing their thing. Karen, however, will not be at school. Where she's going is FOIC.  I'll post an IC rumor about it when the time comes.

I guess I'm going on hiatus of sorts. Don't know how long, but I've just been dragging myself along for a while now. I don't really have anything driving me right now. As a player I really need some kind of goal to be working toward and feel like I'm making headway. As far as my characters, one is driven by learning new spells and new information and the other by exploring new areas and discovering new creatures, both of which are sort of on hold right now with most things being "reset".
Also, during the recent event setup involving the numerous questions about your character I realized I didn't know the answer to the vast majority of them, wishing instead for multiple choice. If I can find a way to fill in at least some of the blank space, I might feel less awkward and detached. If someone has a reference they use for creating backgrounds I could use to pull ideas from, feel free to message me. Even if it's from some completely different style of game I'd appreciate the structure.

I regret to announce that my server time will be drastically cut.. I am working all the time at night and I am in college until two on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I must stress that RL before all else and since this entire semester is so important to me I have no choice but to take it easy on gaming.. I've spent like almost all of last week playing Arkham City ~just~ so that I'm not tempted to finish stuff that I didn't finish prior. This could go on until May, or if I'm lucky then I will not be so neck-deep in classes. I just had my first (not-so-informative) class days so I'm still not sure how this will all go but if I have to take a break, know that I love you all and when I come back, you will surely be in for a treat.  - Nick / Paco

Haha if they put you to sleep for it you might be totally out of it when you get online. The one time I had general anesthetic I woke up and wouldn't stop talking about eggs and pancakes. Glad to have you back, though. Roo's got some company in the first year Ravenclaw girl department.
