The residential newbie, Clay Roberts, hasn't been seen in the halls, or at class much at all since the past few days. Rumor has it he's locked up in his room, sobbing or something. I wonder how he eats?

Word flies around the school that Kylindra Valerine apparently lost her mind and started attacking random students. Though the reason is as yet unknown, it was confirmed that was she was eventually captured and transported to St. Mungo's for treatment. Some are saying she got cursed again, some are saying she just finally cracked and was about to kill someone, and some say she's turning into a monster who is going to eat people's toes while they're asleep!

Rumors begin to spread around the school of a grand theft at Hogwarts. Many wild stories spiral as to what the objects were but the most common stories appear to revolve around the two ancient sarcophagi in the Ancient Runes classroom. (Anyone who dared to visit the Ancient Runes class would indeed find the sarcophagi missing)

How the sarcophagi vanished is all twisted up in speculation. Some rumors say that the malicious spirits that haunt that class every so often wisked it away, while others speak of the crazy old lady from the forest secretly stealing them so that she can stuff students who venture too far out and bake them in her oven. Some rumors even go as far as to speculate that LAM used the werewolves in the forest as a distraction for them to sneak into the castle undetected and obtain these ancient relics...

Rumors spread that the nameless "guest Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher" from a recent class is apparently staying in London for some time at a local Buddhist temple, Kagyu Samye Dzong. He encouraged several students who had questions after the class to visit him for "tea and telling funny stories."

OOC: This is just in the event that anyone wanted to speak more with Dzochen! Let me know if such comes up.

Though Kylindra was released from St. Mungo's after only a few days, she didn't return immediately after. Now it seems Kyli has finally come back to the school after "taking some extended recovery time at home."

Reece Fallow, as always, has been noticably absent from the School Grounds. His face is now worn and bruised, his eyes tired and dark. A thin and dirty bandage is wrapped tightly around his neck, dried blood stains decorating it some. His tone has lost it's enthusiasm, his walls of pleasentries now secondary as he pointlessly wanders the halls lost in thought. He has several cuts across the backs of both hands which he keeps concealed with fingerless gloves. Reece, as little as he feels for those around him, seems to have lost what patience and compassion he once had. Now seen whispering to himself and consulting his journal more than ever, it's apparent something isn't right. His painting has become more chaotic and in essence, has almost completely redifined his artistic style. He's losing control and he knows there are only so many lies he can tell.

Professors would be warning students to stay away from any strange people appearing who don't belong, particularly those wearing muggle business suits, and to remain calm and not attempt to attack or subdue them at this time.

A dozen black roses were recently found in the entrance hall next to one of the columns in a spot that some students usually sit. This would not be so unusual if it hadn't been for a double edged dagger that was stabbed through them and into the ground. An unusual spell was placed on it, such that students attempting to remove it failed and a Professor had to be contacted to remove it.

Word has it that Headmaster Snape is wanting to find the student or students who wedged a knife between flagstones near a column in the Entrance Hall and left their trash on the floor.

Word travels around the school that Kylindra Valerine has returned, along with her sister Amy. There are various guesses as to where the sisters were, but the more common rumor is that they were fighting against some really bad guy. While there doesn't seem to be any proof, people who see Kyli have noticed she seems to have grown stronger spiritually. Something obviously happened, but what it is largely remains a mystery to everyone.

It seems like Tom Summers has managed to crown himself as the new Gryffindor Quidditch Captain. The fact that he's involved with the Slytherin Quidditch Captain has given rise to many tasty rumors, chief among them the inevitable climactic dual between the once-lovers after the first clash between their teams, or the ever-so-likely subduement of the Gryffindor Captain under pain of "no more girlfriend".

// Oh, SNAP!

For those students who enjoy visiting the oasis through the secret passage to Egypt every once in a while (you know who you are.), it may have become apparent that the once beautiful paradise looks like it was recently bombed. The nearby palmtrees stand rooted in the sand like pitiful matches after their use has been fulfilled. The surrounding sand blackened, with something of a crater filled a puddle of water lingering in the middle of it all. Thankfully this is only true for one half of the oasis, but it remains a rather curious development.
