The following rumor runs through the school like wildfire, and many people are shocked by it. Matthew Pace and Caitlyn Rosewood have broken up after being together for nearly five years. Caitlyn has been seen coping well enough, but it's quite clear she is heartbroken.

Rumors start spreading about West Coltern And Emily Hodgkins. Most of the rumors follow the lines around both of them being expelled. They were seen leaving hogwarts after being called to McG's office. Emily seemed rather furious along with her friends escorting her out. West seemed in a rather good mood as he walked out telling his friends to Visit him before stepping outside the gates and Apparating away.

Rumours once again run around about Keeferson. Except for there's a few differences about these...

1) a flyer (probably from the Ravenclaw Status Titans) does go out, briefly detailing the various women Keeferson has been seen with over the years. the rumour is that after five years of purposely remaining single, Keeferson is actually dating... someone. the rumour does not state certain who is the (un)lucky damsel. the only definite is that it is a damsel who is magically stronger than Keeferson is.

2) a second flyer (clearly labeled by the Slytherin Siren Seven) goes out, showing pictures of Keeferson with various young women - none of whom go to Hogwarts. the obvious thread is that all of the young women (not a single one under sixteen years of age) go to one of three schools - Beauxbatons, the London Academy of Magic, or the Salem Academy Of Sorcery and Spellcraft. the insinuation is that Keeferson is dating or doing something with them...

3) after the recent rash of rumours of suspensions, expulsions, and transfers, someone has something to say about Keeferson: that he has been seen coming back into Hufflepuff Commons at odd hours, looking haunted. pretty much, the location changes but the image impressed into the minds of others is the same: Keeferson is running scared of something. something that he's so certain he cannot stop with traditional magic, he is looking into... alternatives.

4) the truth is that Keeferson recently left the dungeon regions with a few suitcases filled with... something. and then later on in the same week he went back into the dungeons with a few suitcases stuffed with... something else. the speculation behind what came in and what left has been muted, but filling the ears of First Year and Second Year students quite a lot, recently.

The newest rumor circulating through Hogwarts is the fact of someone spiking food and drinks of the students. Within the past week West Coltern has been slipped a rather strong Love Potion and Xem Nergen was poisoned. Both times Madam Pomfery managed to cure these victims.

The rumor also goes that the teachers conducted a thorough search of the Kitchens, but found no trace of foul play.

Whisperings of yet another student dueling organization, this one referred to as The Camp or Nameless Camp, this one geared toward teaching the younger students, are going around. Most people assume it's gonna fail like all the rest, especially since the person running it apparantly keeps some secrecy.

A rumor goes around among the more gossipy girls of Hogwarts that Micah Wylde was seen in Gladrag's, apparently buying a pair of lavender and rose colored silk pants from Tiffany Gladrag. The rumors and eyewitnesses (two young girls) all stress that Micah wasn't wearing -any- pants at the time, only his white button-up shirt.

[The rumor gets some legs as Tiffany only too happily confirms this tale for those curious little students who ask, adding plenty of embellishing details for the listeners over tea. -JB]

Rumors has it that during potions class, a 3rd year Gryffindor girl named Vinter, was thoroughly humiliated and turned into a toad by drinking one of Snape's home-brewed concoctions- but that a 3rd year old Slytherin named Perci, heroically rescued her from her toady-doom.

Another version says that the same girl was forced to prove that her curative potion-brewing was up to par by drinking some vile-smelling liquid that Snape himself had been making during the class. This, according to rumor, apparently made her skin bubble up and boil, and literally drip down from her face, upon which she was given the choice of her own flask of curatives, or that of another student.

The ending to this version is not clear; whether the girl walks around today without a face, is locked into a separate room at Madam Pomfrey's, or if her skills proved up to the task.

A third rumor, quickly denied, is that a Gryffindor girl named Ace was actually used in the mix of the malicious face-boiling brew that Snape had cooked up...

According to many, it would seem that Matthew Pace has been Crucio'ed by LAM student Theodore Jameson. Further notes from the Academy and those supporting them would believe Matthew was lying.

Most recently, rumors float around that Matthew Pace is also being investigated by the Ministry of Magic for his said accusation against the LAM boy.

Rumours about a strange glowing skunk run through the school rather rapidly. It seemed that the skunk could not be affected by magic. These rumours are in fact verified by the large amount of students who still carry the acrid stench with them for the next week or so. The majority of the school was affected by the skunk. However the areas most affected are: The Entrance Hall, the Ravenclaw Common Room, the Ravenclaw Pool, the Slytherin Common Room, The Slytherin Girls' Dorm, the Left Hand Corridor on the Ground Floor and the Courtyard. Despite the efforts of Mr. Filch, the stench only seems to fade after the first few days and fades entirely after the week.

Some have already heard this exciting news but for those who haven't. West Coltern has finally been expelled after many attacks and drastic actions towards other students. Many of them are overjoyed by this news.
