I was bored, and started doodling. Opinions?

It's much better than I can draw, but the proportions are a bit off. The mouth is a bit on the small side, but it's pretty good for doodling. Have you taken any classes or thought about taking any?

While I can't draw at all really, to the point that I'd be afraid to even attempt one of my characters, I would give the opinion that drawing on lined paper is a bit distracting from the drawing itself. Sort of takes away from the drawing.

Oh, definitely. I agree with Calan on that. There could be a bit more shading at the nose, eyes, mouth, neck, and under the hair, but since it's just doodling, it's really good. I'm not expecting it to be proportionate or shaded when you're doodling, but if you were to do this expertly and not abstractly (nothing wrong with abstract, which this could easily be pulled off as if you were defensive or did it on purpose), then you'd want to do scaling proportionately and shade quasi-sparingly.
EDIT: Where's the signature? EGAD!

I like the detail in the eye

Really good! ;D I can actually admit to being an artist, though. But I'm not going to critisize it. But I have taken 7 years of art and have been drawing all my life. xD

I'm horrible at drawing (people try to tell me I'm great, but I know they're lying), so I just comment on other people's. I would probably fail at critique, but I always think it's nice when people tell me what I can improve on something, so I try to do that.

Yeah, I was just doodling, I agree that the portions are off, and the lined paper is distracting, and the eyes totally sucked As for the shading, I always just leave it as is. Lol! Maybe I'll try a better picture and post it sometime. Would make a good passtime... Also, I've never taken classes...I'm not good at drawing people, I draw emo-ish designs. Lol

Tough, we like the eyes anyway. And yeah 'cause it's a doodle, I didn't mention the paper.

I actually liked the shading you did on the eye.

It was really good that you actually drew the eyelashes, and really good that you didn't draw the whole outer iris.

I can't draw people what so ever. Your drawing is good, compared to what my end result would be, with a 100% Effort.
I especially like the eyes as well.
