Let me first say, since I've gotten this reaction, this is not an "I'm leaving" thread. Not at all. Quite the opposite. But...

*sigh* Here we go. I am going to bare my soul here and apologize to each and every one of you. I owe it to you all.

I’ve been lying to you. I’ll lay out the lies and their related truth first, then go into my excuses. Some of you may say, hey, we don’t -need- OOC knowledge about you, you don’t need to do this. But since I have so blatantly said these things to so many of you, I feel it is very important that I finally set the record straight. You people have become friends to me, and deserve this.

And no “closet emo” comments from the JB peanut gallery

I am not a high school teacher. I -will- be, in about 2 years. I am, however, a bit of a writer. I have a Bachelors degree in Professional Writing and just got accepted to a university to start in the summer for my teaching certification in English.

I live at home, not on my own as I have suggested. Not yet anyway.

I -have- worked with children a lot, ever since I got out of high school over 8 years ago. So my comments to that regard are accurate, if not connected to teaching as I have implied.


This has not be easy for me, but I absolutely feel the need to be honest with you guys and this is killing me. I misspoke once in a tell to JB, only about a week or so after I started playing. I said “as an English teacher” instead of “as a future English teacher.” He got excited about that and I decided to roll with it, since I wasn't even sure I’d be around long.

I’ve since, of course, developed a friendship with many of you and obviously intend to stick around for quite some time. So this needed to be said, now. I promise you, for what its worth, that the things listed are the only things I’ve lied about. I’ve tried to keep it compartmentalized a much as possible.

I am sorry.
