Quote:
3. Character Upgrades
Ability Bumps and Skill Enhancements

At each graduation (1st to 2nd year, 2nd to 3rd year, etc.) you can add one ability point to any ability of your choice. You will send an email with your login and character name and specify which ability you want bumped. The changes will be made as quickly as possible in Leto. (Abilities are Strength, Constitution, Intelligence, Dexterity, Charisma, and Wisdom.)

Also, for each level you gain, you may add up to five skill points to any skill or skills at each graduation. You may put all the bonus points into one skill, or divide them up however you like, with the exception of pick pockets. Include your desired skill enhancements in your graduation emails along with the ability score bumps.

Does this exists yet? If does, which is the email?

Dia, you're quoting from the HPNWN Archive. That archive is for historical interest only, and those forums were active during an entirely different version of the mod on a different server.

Aww. So our characters can't become slightly more useful at the host's expense? Personally, I think it's an excellent idea, save for the fact that Nikblade would need to edit all of our leto'ing requests. Perhaps it should be re-implimented, and then scripted into the server? (Sorry if I give you more work, O' Almighty Bolton.)

Meh. Or we can... just not. :3

The server is already geared on powergaming after each year you get.
No need to make our uber characters even more uber.

Oh, and if anyone for a single moment thinks I'm going to go through
-thousands- (quite a few players + a change for each and every year
advance) of requests to add points... they're completely out of their mind.

And I'm not going to let Drado kill himself doing this, either. ; )

Sorry, your uber character will have to stay as uber as he is for the time
being.

I agree the chars are already too strong, if they get more strong, any challenge will be over. It is already possible for a simple 17 year old boy, to storm a cave with 6 junior death eaters, 4 giants and 8 inferis all attacking at the same time, and get out with almost no scratch.
So cheers and have fun.

I'm starting to realize that I'm the only player who has never passed second year...

Regardless, yeah. Some characters do seem excessively uber. It's already possible for a seventeen year old boy to do what a thirty year old couldn't. I see only one solution; make the monsters more uber! >.>

I agree with that. Or just leave it as it is.

You don't think the NPCs are strong enough?

Wow. I don't think nearly enough of you have been attacked by my Witch
Hunters yet. ; )

And the DEs are strong enough as they are. The reason they suck so bad
is their horrible AI, which, unfortunately, cannot be improved upon.

Though I suppose randomly giving them TS and perma-haste would help.

Earaldor = Was likely being sarcastic to prove a point. There's been a lot of Dementor activity, but little Witch Hunter activity.

This is SO not a solution.

*came here from a server that had that problem and made the npc's more uber - then made the pc's more uber and gave them custom items to compensate - then made the npc's more uber - and so on and on and on*

All the best servers I've played on were balanced so that it was neigh impossible to solo. It's fun to see a handful of goblins and think, "$*&!."

The DE only suck cause they only use death and negative magic, use a protection against those kind of spells and they can't touch you, been hasted or not. There is only a monster that makes me wanna challenge, and is the giants, those are preatty hard guys to kill.
