Cordelia had finished her time at Hogwarts. The break-up with Zane, while she had taken it quite stoically, had been painful. She had known of others who had put all their hopes into a single person, but she now knew how it felt. She had intended to go to France, to attend the same finishing school her sister, Ana, had been sent. Her father, Carmine, had other plans.

She was now attending the prestigious Gringotts Business School, honing her already sharp business sense into a fine tool, indeed. Carmine Galliano wished to expand into England, and he wanted Cordelia to be his agent.

Delia was already making plans on how to rule her little empire, and who to recruit for its operation. Zane, of course, would be tapped for his werewolf research. The medical aspect would be released to the public, but the more "military" aspect would be kept for Galliano Enterprises. Enforcers who were stronger, faster, and could heal quickly were something she would need. She would also try and recruit Zane's paramour, the enigmatic Joki Wilde. She was sure that the mysterious woman could be of some use, with the right backing and funding.

The first person she would tap for her enforcers would be the last person anybody would ever expect. He would be perfect, and she knew precisely the bait to use. Power.

She should have waited, but the opportunity was there, she was there, and she took it.

Somehow she knew that Priggo would not want to work for her, despite the power that the Head Enforcer position possessed. He had power, and the desire to use it in whatever way he wished. She just had wished to put that desire to a useful purpose.

No matter. She would deal with Priggo in the manner she had wanted to in the first place, once she had become established.
