Rumor has it that Hufflepuff Kimi Rachel might have finally lost it. Earlier today, she was spotted in the entrance hall screaming, and then giving "George" the pillar a telling-off worthy of McGonagall herself. Why is it always the Puffs...
In more subtle gossip, there seems to be trouble in the Weirdoclaw gang. Sam McKinnon hasn't been seen hanging out with Jade Celine and Peran Wricken for the better part of a week now, and the few times they have crossed paths have been tense. Some students claim that they heard that Sam doesn't hang out with them anymore because Peran was being a bad friend, while others insist that it was obviously Sam's fault, the kid's got a temper and this wouldn't be the first time he's lashed out. Regardless of who started it, rumor has it that Sam was overheard in the entrance hall earlier today demanding an apology from the long-time couple.

For a few hours earlier today, all of the toilets in hogwarts vanished! Exposed plumbing spewed water out onto the floors of the castles as students wandered around searching in vain for a usable loo. After a few long hours, the toilets re-appeared, fully-functional as if nothing had happened. Rumor has it that Lockhart was responsible, as he was spotted being removed via stretcher from his classroom that afternoon.
Lockhart would be kept in the hospital wing for several days, in the private room. He is not allowed visitors - though many students try - but Madam Pomfrey will begrudgingly accept gifts for him. Some students whisper that he's not really very hurt at all, and that Madam Pomfrey is just taking an excuse to keep him in the wing and out of trouble for a few days.

Some Ravenclaw girls whisper that they swear they saw Sam McKinnon sneaking into the girls dormitories last night with his pockets stuffed full of flowers. However, many students say that rumor makes no sense, what would possess McKinnon to have his pockets stuffed with flowers? Not to mention boys can't even get in the girls dorm in the first place without resorting to major shenanigans to avoid the defense charms. It must have just been some girl who looked like him, he's pretty short and skinny - could have been any upperclassman girl with short, blonde hair.

The whole school seemed to be caught in a nightmare this morning. Students felt as if they were still asleep, and saw such wonders - and horrors - as: - A forest of vividly colored trees covering much of the ground floor, so bright and colorful that it made your head spin to consider them for too long.
- An acromantula web spun just below Gryffindor commons, so hunters could drop down to the moving staircases below and take their prey at will.
- A dragon! Rumor has it that Jade Celine, Cray Fencrow, and Elizabeth Finley were the ones to finally defeat this monster.
By noon, the disturbance had subsided, and the school was back to normal, leaving some students questioning their sanity, as well as what they'd eaten before bed the night before. ((Why am I the only one who posts in this thread? Come on, guys!))

The Gryffindor Prefect was seen being given a tarot reading yesterday in the Entrance Hall by Amber. Those who were around to see the end of the reading could swear they saw Cray sobbing; several say that Cray was obviously so embarrassed that he didn't show his face the rest of the afternoon; others have a completely different story, saying that Cray nearly decked Amber in the nose! Whatever people hear, it is very apparent that whatever was said during the reading had to have been something interesting for the prefect to have reacted in such a way.

Another rumor among The Claws is that a chocolate egg was left on their Commons' table with a note saying it was Prosper's.
Now, apparently, Eleonor Riverbanks is also missing.

A weird statue of an eyeball being held by a hand has appeared in several places around the castle.
Rumor has it that it's being worked on, but it's some professor's fault. (Probably Lockhart, most people figure.)

Sam McKinnon has declared that the creepy eyeball statues are evil and responsible for many strange happenings since they've appeared, including but not limited to plagues of mushroom rats and weird color perception flashing. Also, they're obviously spying on us. They must be destroyed, preferably with a [firebrand] straight to the eyeball!

"No, it wasn't a broken bone! It was burns - he exploded himself, from what I hear. I saw Pomfrey disposing of that chainmail shirt he always wears. It was all cut up, and there was blood on it!"
