I'll simply start by saying the movie was absolutely wonderful.
I'll also say this... they got it right. The movie covered the book very nicely. I've been disappointed in the past at things added that weren't in the books at the expense of things removed that shouldn't have been, but absolutely not this time, they covered it very well (as well as can be done in a 2 hour movie).
Perhaps what made it so wonderful to me was that more than any other, I could literally see the characters on our server walking around in the background with the characters in the movie. I could name names, like the time I swear I saw Sierra stick her head out from behind Draco ready to give him that extra shove off the Astronomy tower. I won't say much more, you'll have to watch it. I absolutely swear that the producer and/or director secretly RP's with us in WoHP. The only thing that could have topped this would be to have packed the theater with WoHPers and watched it all together. We would have been -so- annoying to the rest of the spectators!
I'm so absolutely thrilled to go watch a brand new Harry Potter movie and have it feel so much like our server. It's a testament to you all!

I've seen it today, it's a good movie but I expected a bit more action. It is, however, as Calan said, a movie we could place our characters in. Like Zoe Winters told me: "To much drama".

Calan, you neglected to mention Snape's "nice shoes"!  (Yes, I am a geek. That honestly *was* what went through my head during the party scene.....) And yeah, we saw a matinee today and when it's in IMAX, I'm making my guy come with me.
