Since everyone seems to be gung ho lately about proving who's wand is bigger. I figure a Dueling Tournament may be a nifty DM Event to hold. Maybe the content provider(s) could make a prize of some sort for the winner(s)?

I was thinking that maybe there should be 1-2 (maybe more) tournaments. One for 7th years or 6th and 7th years combined since they have more spells to choose from. Then another tournament or more (depending how you organize this) for the lower classes.

I was thinking about maybe cutting the applicants off at possibly 4th year. 3rd year and below seems a little too low. Yes, I know they had a dueling thing going on in book 2 but the way the game and server is set up; it just doesn't seem like it will be much fun.

So what does everyone think?

Ive only said no due to the other events planned, If we have a dueling tournament the other events might be forgotten about.
