I want to quickly thank everyone who took part in my small event. Everyone can still try to take part if they missed it. As an aside i'd like to thank yendys, calan, angel on a small scale of kennys behavior....and thanking celtic for giving him a whole new meaning and endless hours of rp.

Kudos to Ree for helping me pull off last night's Leprechaun shenanigans! I had a lot of fun with it. Also kudos to those at the after party, keeping Seril and I company while we filled ourselves with green beer.

Thanks to everybody who came out to the boggart class tonight. Excellent RP, even if I felt like a total jerk for most of it because I was RPing the boggart. I still might try to hit a second session in a week or two, so if anyone is interested who didn't attend tonight, send me a PM.

Great class Yendys, kudos to you! You pulled that boggart off well. And kudos to everyone else that attended the class!

Thanks to everybody who came out to the event tonight! It was lots of hilarious fun, even though it took FIVE HOURS!!! Lessons I have learned:
Gryffindors are smarter and more efficient than they look. Hufflepuffs, while occasionally derptastic when it comes to doing certain tasks twice, are excellent dragon slayers. Slytherins are hilarious boggart-pwners, and it is very difficult to DM while laughing your butt off IRL. Ravenclaws should not be invited to help if you're moving house, nor should they be trusted with fire. Ever. On the other hand, their ability to succeed while failing most of their dice rolls should be applauded. And, most importantly, players will waltz right past your favorite, most creative puzzle, with the use of a second-year spell. *sigh*
Thanks to Ronni, Kell, Lance, Xander, Nathan, Jade, Peran, Kenny, Samantha, Lily, Seril, James, Eve, Lucy and Drogo! Onwards to next week! *stumbles off to get some sleep*

Yendys! Dang! Okay, I have no idea what it's like to be a DM. But. I'm rather impressed with what you pulled off last night. And since I couldn't see who was "behind the curtain," I'm curious if you had other DMs helping you during the event? Because it seemed like a rather massive event, just... a heckuva lot going on. But at any rate, OOC kudos, two thumbs up, and a cookie, for your excellent event. Seriously. I really enjoyed it. Even though I crashed and Sam didn't get to face her boggart (whew, actually). I'm completely impressed with -everything- you've lined up recently... the calendar of events is really nice, so that folks can see what's coming up and plan their game time accordingly. So thanks! For everything! Okay, on to the Huffies! Thanks James, Lily, and Seril, for the fun trek through the maze! Kell Coldwind: Thanks for staying behind to cheer for the Ravenclaw team after most folks left, you're a class act. Ravenclaw team: Thanks for waiting around til the end of all of our adventures before you took your own stab at it. Also, thanks for inspiring the most amusing DM shouts of the night, regarding billowing pillars of smoke, etc. Good times!

Thanks! And nope, just me. If I'd had help, I probably would have had some professor possession going on for you guys waiting outside the maze. I was going to jump back and forth as the teams walked from trial to trial, but long loading times for the maze zone made that infeasible. I'm glad people seem to have had fun even though 3/4 of the event ended up being waiting, especially for Ravenclaw!

The month isn't quite over yet, but I'm going to go ahead and give my kudos now, since I won't have the energy after the event tonight and my work schedule is crazy for the first half of this week, so if I know me I'll forget to do it entirely if I don't do it now.
Kudos to everybody who came out and RPed this month!
Together, you: *cue highlights montage with appropriately dramatic music* ...partied it up at the Three Broomsticks! ...defeated Headmaster Dumbledore in a Library Adventure book! ...faced down a dragon for the glory of your house! ...elected the King and Queen of Chess! ...learned about magical guild structures, and the art of painting portraits! ...tested your wit, knowledge and sanity in a series of puzzle rooms! ...dunked Professor Sprout at a quidditch carnival! ...survived a trip under the lake in a magical submarine! ...learned to look for the best in others! (Well, some of you, at any rate.) ...rocked out to Lorcan D'eath! ...learned about secret magical societies that pulled strings behind the scenes in medieval Europe! ... and, last but not least, gave it your best shots as amateur detectives! *end montage with a long shot of a sunset over the lake*
It just wouldn't have been as fun without you, even - no, especially - when things went wrong. No matter who wins, tonight, I hope everybody had fun and was able to grow their characters a little bit out of their comfort zones, because that's what it's really all about.
And a big Kudos to the other DMs who helped me out when things were falling apart. Squirrel, Chaos, Calan and Ree, also JB and Dru on the idea-side. Sticking to a schedule is hard, especially when you have to turn crazy party ideas into actual things!

Kudos to Skylar-o (necro)! I was seriously cracking up IRL at the animal comparisons. Amber Ramsay! Cray! Lucille! Serin! Wesley! Squirrel! Everyone at Squirrel's event! [Squirrel Edit: Amber Ramsey wasn't there. ;D She was at the one the night before that you missed.] [Dru Edit: Alesu deserves kudos regardless of presence! ]

Kudos to everyone who chased down my Crups in preparation for my Class tomorrow.
Further Kudos to Phantom for intelligent use of the spell 'Ferula' when needing a 'stick' to play fetch with the Crup.
