(I apologize for the lengthy nature of this bio. I have never written one before and did my best to follow the formats provided by other players.)

Ami is just a smidge under 5’0 with long raven black hair that comes down to her bra strap in the back. Her skin is so pale one would think she has never seen the sun although she blushes easily and when she does her cheeks don a bright red hue. Her eyes are spaced wide on her face giving her an innocent coquettish look and their color is the palest of blues. Very often she wears her hair up in a high ponytail. She has no scars or distinguishing marks of any kind except a mole on her right hip.
Update Since coming to Hogwarts Ami now has an astericks shaped scar in the middle of her palm on her left hand.

Personality:
Anyone who has met Ami would describe her as exceedingly friendly. She always seeks out new people and excitedly greets friends. Her most stunning quality would be her deep sense of compassion towards others. She can not bear to see anyone hurt or in pain and feels obligated to help. She understands some of the deepest and most unspoken forms of pain although she is never quick to reveal why. She wears her heart on her sleeve and is prone to emotional outbursts. She feels deeply hurt when people do not act kindly especially towards her. Along with her kind nature towards people, Ami is also especially kind to animals and has been seeing petting random snakes in the great hall. Her soft touch and kind words are soothing to most people and species.
She is naïve and inquisitive with an eagerness to learn. Her intelligence is best seen once she lets her guard down. She is witty and doesn’t mind being on the bad side of a pun. She is also an adept poet although she prefers to keep that secret. Although she would probably fit better into Gryffindor because of her love for travel, adventure, and pranks; her placement in Ravenclaw is mostly due to heritage and the relentless need to please an overbearing mother who will accept nothing less than the work of an overachiever.
Background and Family History:
Ami was born in Northern Ireland. Her wizarding line supposably dates back to the Celtics. Her father works as a liaison between the ministry of magic and muggle politicians throughout Europe. Because of his unique position Ami was raised as a muggle despite being of pure wizard blood. Her mother is a writer who specializes in muggle history and muggle fiction. Although Ami never mentions it, she did have an older brother named Charles. He married a muggle girl and joined the IRA in an effort to reunite the green isle. He was killed in the streets of Dublin when Amilia was only 10 (her brother was 20). The death of her brother and the conflict it caused between her parents is the source of much unspoken for pain. She has mixed feelings about the muggle world because of its many wars. In her poetry Ami describes herself as bearing the twisted scars of mankind forever in her soul.
Hogwarts is the first school Ami has ever attended. Although she was raised as a muggle her parents would not allow her to attend public school. She was home school by her overprotective and overbearing mother. This may account for her need to befriend everyone she sees and her falling in love with one of the first boys she ever met.
