So, out of random curiousity, I've been meaning to ask where everyone got their avatars from, and what they are.

Mine's a dude and a Final Fantasy One black mage.

I play on alot of different servers, and I always end up as one of a couple of things. The B word, The girl who gossips alot IC, or the girl who end up with way to many friends OOC.

On one server, I was called by the server host a "PropagandaMistress" Therefore on that server I'm called Mistress.

True to form on this server, crazily enough Nik and me started talking about mistress's in tells, which I think led to PM's and finially to party chat for a vote- but none the less. I thought it was funny.

SO Twayf3 (Who you never see on the forums, as he uses my forums acct) made me a avatar with my house crest and my nick name in it.

Then a matching Siggy.

Mine is a symbolic representation of my place in the universe, struggling to advance my knowledge and grow my character along the path to self actualization in a cruel and heartless world... err, well actually I just swiped it from Zach eons ago 'cause I liked his idea, resized it to my liking and added the texty bit. But I think Zach would approve, if he wasn't off self-actualizing himself somewhere.

What am I doing now?

I got mine from taking a screenshot WAY back in the day of HPNwN when Kris had a level or two stored up, cut it out of the image.. and later changed it to now with the colors inverted and tweaked a bit. :]

Mine is the Cross which was the traditional symbol of the knights Templar which I have always enjoyed their history/mystery in both fact and fiction.

The red color came from my enjoyment of the Vampire the Masquerade RPG of which I almost always played the Ravnos Clan. their symbol was the cross slightly edited.

Well, mine's the portrait I use for Callie. :)

Mostly 'cause I don't know if other people have the portrait or not.
Sometime I'll change it - maybe to one of the other avatars I've made in the past. I think the one I used before this was one of them (a girl in a long dress holding a black cat) - which would be me and my cat (whose name I use for my login)
