Then when people ask why you're not talking, you're supposed to explain it to them(in writing obviously) and therefore raise awareness. I'm generally kind of antisocial and pretty averse to pointless smalltalk, so...yeah, not much difference for me there. At least I'd have an excuse not to participate in the "how are you today?" "Good, how are you?" "Good." dance.

Well I woke up and it was here at 9:00am EST. And people told me Fed-Ex wasn't to be trusted! Cast Away wasn't a true story!

Being loud has a time and a place, but it's very easy for people to ignore that kind of thing(think about how often you just walk past the people with signs trying to get your attention for whatever cause they've got). I think it's the act of being silent yourself and realizing that there's things you want to say but can't that's supposed to give you the "holy crap..." moment where you start to realize how often LGBTQ people have to censor what they say. I'm pretty blatant(it's on my FB, I don't usually go out of my way to hide anything, etc), but I still occasionally have situations where I'll definitely censor myself in a way that someone who is only attracted to the opposite sex(lol don't even drag gender into this...) wouldn't have to worry about. Like I said, it's not been a form of awareness-raising that I've felt the need to participate in. But I understand where it's coming from.

I was gonna get alienware, but then i found out they were Dell, so i am not gonna get one now. This anti-Dell thing must be American. I've had two Dell machines myself, a laptop and a desktop. The laptop I had for nearly five years and never had a single issue with, aside from the fact that it was a bit overpriced (which it may not have been, considering how long it lasted. Still works, the battery just died). The desktop started killing graphic cards after close to three years, which was how long the warranty lasted, so they tried to fix it. After 5 dead cards and pretty much the entire machine changed, they decided to just give me a new (and updated) one. That one I had for close to three years as well, from what I remember. Still runs pretty much perfectly, I just felt like something new.
